Cardboard Snake
Team Kickass interpreted the snake. We wanted to try a 4 person costume that would be separate box cars but due to size we decided it would be to large to safely traverse the stairs with. The egg shell design was too simple and with cardboard would be difficult to make the shapes. Our final design used a armor looking design far different from our other two ideas. We incorporated pieces from each of our own designs and added the cross suspenders to pull it all together and give it support. The pieces were separated into 3 pieces, the headdress and cowl, the spine scales which connected to the shoulder pieces and the suspenders were riveted on, and the pants. The suspenders connected to the pants using Velcro. The sound of snake's rattle was created by shaking spare rivets in a tape container.
